When it comes to life’s challenges, two heads are better than one.

MEET BRENDA

I’m guided by the belief that life is fun, leisure is valuable, and creativity is courageous.

I received my training at MMS Northern California and I’m credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF)—the gold standard in coaching.

Before becoming a certified coach, I worked for a decade in management at both agencies and nonprofits. With a balance of emotion and logic, I supported creative teams hired to elevate design at companies like Capital One and Adobe. An expert in museums and visitor experience, I’ve opened over 25 exhibitions in Los Angeles and San Francisco visited by hundreds of thousands of people. These exhibits covered a range of topics from Walt Disney to the wild west.

An artist and entrepreneur at heart, I cofounded a themed entertainment company on a mission to build immersive experiences that are beautiful and prosocial. I guided our small team through conceptual development, business planning, seed funding, and prototyping. More recently, I’ve lent my resume writing expertise to a career upgrade program designed by a fellow coach.

These days, you can find me organizing toddler playgroups in my community or coaching private clients around the globe from my cozy home office (a.k.a. bedroom). And yes, I’m probably wearing slippers. I live with my husband and son in Long Beach, CA. We love art, stand-up comedy, live music, and road trips.

My favorite thing is traveling (basic, but true). Aggressively listening to podcasts or audiobooks probably ranks second. If I wrote a memoir, it would be titled The Hazards of Being an Optimist.

Put simply, I make ideas happen.

Brenda is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

  • That’s OK. When coaching begins, we sign an agreement outlining the terms of the coach/client partnership. Both coach and client are free to break this agreement at any time.

  • Coaching differs from therapy, mentorship, and consulting in several key ways. Specifically, the process emphasizes looking forward and centers your deep (and often untapped!) knowledge of self. Coaches are not qualified to address mental health concerns.
